Staying in the moment.
Sometimes for us this is difficult for us to re-learn. For starters I would suggest focus on your surroundings, not only will this ground you but it may help you learn to stay in the moment. One example for me is my feet.(they are always with you) I have brought into my life a habit of feeling the socks on my feet, focusing on the feeling it is to walk barefoot,with socks on, slippers along with different types of shoes. I pay attention to what it is for them to be cold and really feel the warmth when I warm them up. It is also wonderful self care to care for these feet which carry you on your journey through the rest of your life. Keeping your feet cared for with lotion, giving them a spa treatment yourself, fuzzy socks. Really anything you personally are capable of doing. Of course there are many other things you can do it is just finding out what works for you. You may have to try many different things. But never give up! You will find something that will work.
